Children’s Advocacy Center
Lewis & Clark County Child Advocacy Center – Offering Help and Hope
The Lewis & Clark County Children’s Advocacy Center (LCCCAC) provides a safe, supportive space for children and adolescents who may have experienced abuse or crime. Recognizing no single individual or agency has the necessary knowledge, skills or resources to serve the needs of all children and their families, the LCCCAC brings together a team of specially trained professionals who evaluate and investigate cases of child abuse and help children and their families.

Who We Are
Our Story: It Takes a Team

The Lewis & Clark County Child Abuse Multidisciplinary Team recognized a critical need for coordinated care for child victims of crime and their families in 1998. Representatives from Child and Family Services, the Helena Police Department, the Lewis & Clark County Attorney’s Office, the Sheriff’s Office, and a local pediatrician came together with AWARE to establish the Lewis & Clark County Children’s Advocacy Center (LCCCAC).
In 2008, LCCCAC earned accreditation through the National Children’s Alliance, demonstrating our commitment to the highest standards of care. Today, we serve not only Lewis & Clark County but also Broadwater, Jefferson, and Meagher Counties, ensuring that more children and families have access to the support they need.
