Larry Noonan, Chief Executive Officer

Larry has been employed with AWARE Inc. since September 1988. He received his bachelor of science degree in psychology, with an emphasis on behavior analysis from Montana State University-Billings (formerly Eastern Montana College). He has over 30 years of professional experience, including positions as bureau chief and training and contract manager with the Montana State Developmental Disabilities Division, as well as consultant with the Montana State Department of Administration. In 2007, he was awarded the "Entrepreneur of the Year" Award by the Montana Ambassadors and received the Behavioral Health Care Champion award.
Geri Wyant, Chief Financial Officer

Geri has worked with AWARE since August 1992. She graduated from Carroll College with a bachelor’s degree in both accounting and business administration. She has over 25 years of professional, managerial, and administrative work experience.
Jeff Folsom, Chief of Operations

Jeff has been employed with AWARE since December 1997 as director of community development and support. He has worked within the public mental health system for the past 20 years in a variety of capacities, primarily serving youth and families. He also as administrative experiences from his involvement in systems and program development serving difficult to serve populations. In his work with AWARE, he has aided in the effort to develop comprehensive community-based services within AWARE’s wraparound philosophy of responding to the needs of people affected by disabilities and the communities where they live. He earned his bachelor’s in social Work from the University of Montana, a master’s of social work from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and his doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of Wisconsin. He is a licensed clinical social worker and a member in good standing of the Montana State Bar.

Mike has been employed with AWARE since October 1994. He has a bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation and related services from Montana State University-Billings (formerly Eastern Montana College). He has over thirty years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
Jaci Noonan, Program Director of Case Management

Jaci has worked for AWARE since September 1991 when she joined the staff as a targeted case manager. She became program director of the service in 1992. She has a bachelor of science degree from Montana State University in sociology with an emphasis in social work. Jaci has 30 years of professional and administrative experience working with people with special needs.
Mike Kelly, Support Services Director

Mike began his employment with AWARE in October 1997. He received his B.S. in sociology and psychology from Winona State University in Minneapolis and his master's of public administration from the University of Montana. He has over 30 years of professional experience working with individuals with various disabilities and is a national consultant in human service delivery.
Leighanne Fogerty, Human Resources Director

Leighanne came to AWARE, after having worked with some of the primary workforce development councils throughout the state. She is primarily responsible for administering and supporting all human resources activities. Leighanne obtained her masters of public administration and political science from the University of Montana, and obtained her bachelor of science in pre-law from the University of Great Falls Montana.
Carter Anderson, Mental Health Residential Service Director

Carter has been employed with AWARE Inc. since October 2000. He earned his B.A. in business administration from Auburn University and his MBA from Hamilton University in Nashville, Tennessee. He has over 15 years of executive experience in the behavioral healthcare field.
Psychiatric Staff
Dr. Leonard Lantz, Medical Director
Dr. Lantz joined the AWARE Medical Team in July 2005, after having completed his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, and his M.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Dr. Ira Lourie, M.D., Chief Medical Consultant
Dr. Lourie joined AWARE in February1998. He is responsible for creating AWARE’s psychiatric service. The former medical director of a residential treatment center run by the State of Maryland’s Mental Health Administration, he serves part time as medical director of a multi-service children’s service agency, the Pressly Ridge Schools of Maryland. Dr. Lourie worked at the National Institute of Mental Health from 1973 to his retirement in 1991. While with the National Institute, he developed and administered the Child and Adolescent Service System Program. Since 1991, he has been a partner in the Human Service Collaborative and has consulted with numerous states. He is a published author.
Dr. Krista David, Staff Psychiatrist
Dr. David has been with AWARE since September 2005, after having completed her Psychiatric residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. She obtained her B.A. in biology from Bard College at Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, in 1996 and her M.D. in general psychiatry from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in Vermillion, South Dakota, in 2000. She is a board-certified general psychiatrist.
Dr. Alan Reyes, Staff Psychiatrist
Dr. Reyes joined the AWARE Medical Team in June 2006. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and his doctorate from the University of Texas Medical School. He fulfilled his residency in psychiatry in Galveston, Texas.
Dr. Lynn Mousel, Staff Psychiatrist
Before joining AWARE, Dr. Lynn Mousel worked for six years at a residential treatment center for children and adolescents ages 10-18 in Des Moines, Iowa. She started in Great Falls in July 2011 with referrals from case managers for clients already involved in wrap-around services who need psychiatric evaluation or ongoing care. She sees both children and adults. Originally from Omaha, Neb., Dr. Mousel earned an undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in psychology from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. She attended medical school at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, where she remained for a residency in psychiatry in a combined program with the University of Nebraska and Creighton University. After three years of residency with adult psychiatry, she spent additional years of residency training in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
Dr. Celeste Pfister, Staff Psychiatrist
Dr. Celeste Pfister consults with Montana’s Successful Starts children's program, works therapeutically with children and adults and provides medical leadership to AWARE’s outpatient teams. Before attending medical school, she was a junior high school math and science teacher. She later received her doctor of medicine degree from The Ohio State University. She trained for four years in adult psychiatry in Columbus, Ohio, followed by two years training in a child and adolescent fellowship at the University of Cincinnati and Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati. She joined AWARE in mid-July 2011.
