There is an old expression that nothing is as powerful as an idea that’s time has come. A.W.A.R.E. Inc. has been the beneficiary of two such ideas maturing at the same time. One is the recognized right of all Montanans to live in the community of their choice and the second, a belief that local, private enterprise can provide service more efficiently than the State.

Increasingly;

  • Montanans with disabilities are demanding that their communities and school districts find ways to improve their opportunities and lifestyle,
  • The taxpayers are insisting on the biggest bang for their buck;
  • All Montanans are searching for tools to improve Montana’s economic development picture.
As these needs have been defined, A.W.A.R.E. Inc. has been there to translate those needs into concrete community acton. We provide programs that run the gamut of human service needs, and as noted above have pumped millions of dollars into our local economies, hence our motto: The Right Services, to the Right People, at the Right Time.

The Pintler Institute was therefore founded by A.W.A.R.E. Inc. to refine and further these joint purposes:

  • Improving the lives of Montanans with disabilities;
  • Local economic development to strengthen Montana’s local communities;
  • Training and consultation assistance in service delivery strategies that work;
  • Publications and newsletters providing a means of communication throughout the service provider industry.
