Support and Education for Lower-Risk Choices
Prime for Life, offered through AWARE’s Assessment, Course & Treatment (ACT) Program, provides education and support to help people understand substance use, make informed decisions, and lower their risk of future problems. In-person services are available in Kalispell. Telehealth is available throughout Montana through Zoom. Participants may connect from home, another private location, or a participating AWARE campus.

Who Prime for Life Serves
Education and Support Without Judgment
Prime for Life helps participants better understand alcohol and drug use, consider their personal risk, and make choices that can reduce the likelihood of future problems.
Prime for Life May Be Right for You If:
Prime for Life may be appropriate for individuals who:
- Have received a DUI or another alcohol- or drug-related offense.
- Need a Chemical Dependency Evaluation.
- Have been referred by a court, probation officer, employer, or another agency.
- Want to understand substance use and lower their future risk.
Program Details
Schedule, Access, and Cost
Classes are offered monthly and include 12 hours of instruction: eight hours on Thursday and four hours on Friday.
In-person: Kalispell only
Virtual: Statewide through Zoom from home, another private location, or a participating AWARE campus
ACT Assessment: $300
Prime for Life class: $200
How to Get Started
Complete an ACT Assessment First
Contact Jana to schedule and complete your ACT Assessment, receive treatment recommendations, and register for the next available Prime for Life class. An ACT Assessment completed by AWARE is required before registration; outside assessments are not accepted.
