About Heather
Heather Remington oversees AWARE’s community- and school-based services across the state, including outpatient and SUD therapy, Home Support Services, and Youth Case Management.
Heather has served in community and/or school-based roles at AWARE since 2003. She began as a Therapeutic Support Specialist (TSS) while completing her master’s degree, then spent eight years as a school-based clinician. She later served for eight years as the supervisor for Great Falls and Helena school-based services before moving into her current director role, which she has held for the past five years.
Heather earned her BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Carroll College. She completed one year of graduate study at Montana State University in early childhood development, then earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Great Falls.
Heather is grateful to do work she loves while being fully supported in her professional growth. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her kids and traveling.
