Allyssa Gapinski is AWARE’s Director of Development and Marketing, bringing more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, strategic fundraising, and values-driven communications.

Allyssa has led development and marketing efforts at both grassroots and national organizations, building fundraising systems, stewarding donor relationships, and driving campaigns grounded in equity, authenticity, and community connection. At AWARE, she leads a dynamic team to amplify the organization’s impact, elevate its voice across Montana, and ensure that individuals and families can access high-quality, unconditional care. She earned her Master of Science in Community Sustainability from Michigan State University, focusing on Indigenous food sovereignty, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Religion from Adrian College.

Outside of work, Allyssa enjoys spending time in the Montana wilderness with her family, tending her garden, or curling up with a book beside the woodstove, surrounded by her beloved dogs.
