This late Mardi Gras themed celebration aims to unite the community in support of a cause that touches the hearts of both organizations – ‘Safe Play Spaces for All’. AWARE, celebrating nearly 50 years of dedicated service, focuses on providing invaluable support, resources, and assistance to adults and youth with mental health or developmental disabilities residing in Montana.

The primary objective of Tardi Gras is to raise over $60,000 to support AWARE's sensory playrooms and spaces, helping to fully equip with sensory tools, games, crash pads, and sensory-supporting furniture. These sensory spaces will serve as a haven for individuals AWARE supports, facilitating skill development, mindfulness practice, and distress tolerance. *

AWARE’s Chief Executive Officer, Matt Bugni shared, “We are humbled and honored to partner with Rotary Electric to raise much needed funds for our sensory spaces. Our Unconditional Care Principles drive the work we do to fulfill our mission to help people live independent lives and we believe that our connection with our communities is vital. This fundraiser provides an incredible opportunity to connect with our neighbors while supporting our dream to create sensory spaces in all of our homes in Great Falls. Creating safe spaces to play, learn and grow is critical to bringing our mission to life.”
