October marks Mental Health Awareness Month, a time when communities across the country pause to reflect on the importance of caring for one another’s well-being. At AWARE, every day is a reminder that mental health is not just an individual journey; it is a collective responsibility.
I am deeply proud of our clinicians and frontline staff who walk beside children, adults, and families through some of their most difficult moments. They bring skill, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the people we serve, often going above and beyond to make sure no one feels alone in their struggles. Their work is not easy, but it is life-changing.
Yet, as powerful as their efforts are, the truth is this: lasting change takes all of us. Mental health challenges touch every corner of our communities, and it is only by standing together that we can create a future where every Montanan has the tools, support, and hope they need to thrive.
Your generosity makes this possible. Each gift you give fuels not only the services we provide but also the sense of belonging and hope that every person deserves. Because of you, and because of the extraordinary dedication of our staff, thousands of lives are being transformed every year.
This month, and always, I invite you to join me in recognizing the remarkable work of our frontline teams. I also thank you for being part of this mission. Together, we are building communities where mental health is understood, supported, and never stigmatized.
With deep gratitude,
Matt Bugni, CEO
