Dr. Kathryn Brogan is a double board-certified Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist dedicated to advocating for mental health care in Montana. She serves as a board member and national representative for the Montana chapters of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, working to improve mental health access and policies across the state. Dr. Brogan joined AWARE as Medical Director in 2023. In this role, she ensures that all AWARE clients and service lines receive high-quality, evidence-based medical and psychiatric care. She provides supervision and professional development for Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and leads a Physician-Led Interdisciplinary Team-Based Care approach. Through this model, Dr. Brogan strives to enhance mental health services at AWARE and across Montana, improving accessibility and elevating standards of care. Beyond her work, Dr. Brogan enjoys spending time in her garden, exploring her creativity through painting, and unwinding with BBC period dramas.
