Hello from Anaconda,
I hope this note finds you and your loved ones healthy and happy as we head into fall. There is nothing quite like fall in Montana, and I am so grateful to live, work and play in this great state. As a matter of fact, that is one of the things I love most about AWARE. Not only do our team members get to live and work in an incredible place, but through our mission to help people live independent lives, we are also working to ensure the people we serve are able to work, play and live in the community of their choosing.
With Labor Day approaching, I’d like to take time to recognize and thank our workforce. Labor Day, by definition, is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers. Our team at AWARE is simply remarkable. There is no other way to put it. It isn’t always easy work, but we are incredibly lucky to be surrounded by caring and dedicated people. It’s no secret that there is a workforce shortage right now, but our team continues to step up to the challenge to continue serving people and that work does not go unnoticed. To the nearly 800 people on the AWARE team – THANK YOU! You are appreciated.
There is no limit to the number of inspiring stories I could share with you about the work our team is doing. You’ll see a small sample by reading INK in its entirety. Each month this newsletter features stories about the good work our team is doing across Montana, including client success stories and features on AWARE team members. As the changing of seasons happens, so do changes at AWARE. We continue to work to grow and evolve to meet the needs of our team members and the people we serve proactively and creatively. I am grateful to work with a team of people who are always up for a challenge, who are willing to grow, and who genuinely care about the people we serve and the work we do. For those reading this who aren’t on the AWARE team directly, please know we still consider you a part of our team. What we do isn’t possible without your support.
