We all possess an innate ability to care for others. We do the work we do in the spirit of our mission - helping people live independent lives. At times, it’s more than difficult. We’re challenged both physically and mentally, but we always persevere. We always find a way.
This pandemic has forced us to challenge what we thought was possible. It has given us the courage to break down barriers and charge into the unknown. We’ve faced our fears and conquered the obstacles that stood before us. We’ve emerged together, as a tribe of heroes dedicated to making life better for the people we serve.
Inspired by all of you, we are highlighting employees who have gone above and beyond in their duties. They have risen to the challenge, and they continue to serve our mission despite everything this pandemic has thrown at us.
This month’s Healthcare Hero is Jessica Klapan (pictured), who is a nurse coordinator in Butte, MT. Jessica has been instrumental during these times providing for the health and safety of the many people in our homes for people with developmental disabilities.
She is an outstanding healthcare provider and an advocate for some of the most vulnerable people we serve. She holds the utmost respect of her peers and will go out of her way to help those in need.
Jessica has also been integral in leading the charge against our COVID-19 prevention efforts. She’s always armed with factual information and encourages vaccination as a best practice. Because of her efforts, we’ve been able to minimize the effects of this emerging disease as much as possible in our Butte community.
Jessica, you are a true Healthcare Hero! Thank you for your dedication and commitment during the last 10+ years. We are truly grateful for everything you do!
