AWARE CELEBRATES 10 YEARS AT THE CENTER FOR EXCELLENCE WITH OPEN HOUSE & FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES

ANACONDA, MT – Come celebrate with us! AWARE invites kids and families from Anaconda and surrounding areas to join the festivities as we mark a decade of excellence at our Center for Excellence.  

From 12-3 pm on August 23, AWARE will host an open house and resource fair at the AWARE Center for Excellence, located at 200 Polk St in Anaconda. 

During the event that is open to the public, AWARE will provide FREE school supplies for 100 children, FREE BBQ and root beer floats and family resources. We have an exciting FREE raffle with prizes from AWARE, Treasure Town Market, Murdoch’s, and Walmart. AWARE is hosting community partners: Anaconda Public Health, Family Outreach, Anaconda Fire Department, Job Corps, and our very own AWARE FACT team to table and share information and resources available.  

The free school supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Available supplies include backpacks, pens, pencils, crayons, colored pencils, markers, wide- and college-ruled paper, folders, binders, erasers and pencil pouches.  

In addition to the school supplies, kids will have the opportunity to have some fun in the bounce houses and play yard games set up in the Center for Excellence schoolyard. Additionally, all attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a free raffle for great prizes! 

All children and families are invited to this free community event.
