Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana granted AWARE $40,000 to support community action and health care access efforts across Montana in response to COVID-19 pandemic.
With the help of partners like BCBSMT, AWARE has been able to continue to meet the increasing behavioral health needs across Montana.

The grant AWARE received is specific to child care access and aids our employees in being able to work so AWARE can carry on with its mission.
The work AWARE provides is essential, just as every employee we hire is essential to our mission. No layoffs or furloughs were made during the stay-at-home order.
However, many employees have children that require additional child care services or educational tutoring due to the schools closing.
AWARE is directing the money granted by BCBSMT to employees who need help with these services. A $500 scholarship was awarded to all employees who applied.
The grant funds will be available to employees until they’re gone. So far, 55 employees have taken advantage of the funding.
