AWARE recently achieved a remarkable milestone: 25 years of Early Head Start at our Center for Early Childhood in Uptown Butte, located at 237 E. Mercury. It's an incredible accomplishment that wouldn't have been possible without the amazing support we've received from the community!
A BBQ celebration was organized to mark this special occasion. The event was filled with fun and laughter as hamburgers were served alongside dessert and music for everyone to enjoy. Family friendly games were arranged to keep everyone entertained. One of the highlights of the evening was the unveiling of a special video showcasing the 25-year journey of Early Head Start in Butte.
Additionally, we provided guided tours of our Early Childhood Center. It was a chance for visitors to witness firsthand the nurturing environment that has played a crucial role in the growth and development of numerous infants and toddlers in the Butte community.
“As we celebrate this significant milestone, we are truly grateful for the unwavering support we've received over the past 25 years,” said Colleen Bosch, Early Childhood Services Director, as she expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to support the academic and social-emotional growth of children and families in Butte.
Looking to the future, we have set our sights on raising $25,000 for a much-needed kitchen remodel in 2023. Our current kitchen has served us well, providing nutritious meals and snacks to the children who attend our center. However, to meet the growing demands of our facility, it's time for an upgrade.
