Coming Together for Community: Highlights from the Mother’s Day Breakfast

This year’s Mother’s Day Breakfast was a heartwarming success, with over 150 community members gathering to celebrate, connect, and support two of AWARE’s service lines that serve the Whitehall community year-round.

The morning was filled with friendly faces, a delicious homemade breakfast, and a special display of resident artwork, giving attendees a glimpse into the creativity and art program of our residents. One of the most exciting parts of the event was the bucket raffle, featuring a variety of fun and generous prizes donated by local businesses—thank you for helping us bring joy and energy to the day! 

This event came together through the dedication of AWARE staff at Liberty Place and volunteers, who worked side-by-side to ensure the morning ran smoothly. A special thank-you goes to Barrick – Golden Sunlight Mine for their generous sponsorship, which helped bring this event to life.

Thanks to the incredible turnout and community support, funds raised from the breakfast will directly benefit the individuals and families we serve in the Whitehall area—supporting essential services and making a real difference in their lives.
