It was 46 years ago this month (April) that AWARE was established as a nonprofit corporation. It is simply incredible to think about all the people you have helped us serve since then, and we can’t wait to see what’s possible in the next 46!
Later this month, on April 27, we will celebrate our first-ever AWARE Day. This day of celebration is the result of a Corporate Congress bill written by AWARE team member Adam Pehl. Adam proposed establishing a day to celebrate the amazing people we serve, our incredible team and to help bring attention to the work we do, while also raising a few dollars to support our mission.
On AWARE Day, clients and staff will have the opportunity to celebrate with pizza parties. Additionally, we will be sharing success stories and fun facts about AWARE’s history over the course of the day. We hope that you’ll be able to tune in digitally as we celebrate across the state on this day.
To make sure you catch the digital celebration, be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram and subscribe to our emails.
In the meantime, as we gear up to celebrate AWARE Day, we’re asking for your help now. We’ve set a goal of raising a minimum of $4,600 to support the Best Day Ever Fund, bring in 46 new donors, and increase subscribers to AWARE INK. The Best Day Ever Fund is designed to support client birthdays, holidays and other special occasions that are important to celebrate.
Can we count on you to help us reach our goals?
Here is how you can make a difference today:
Donate anytime online at www.Aware-inc.org/donate
If you have donated recently, thank you! Will you consider becoming a monthly donor and/or asking a friend, neighbor or colleague to donate $10?
If you have not had the opportunity to donate to AWARE, would you consider making a tax-deductible gift today to help us reach our goal by the end of the month?
Our CEO, Matt Bugni has generously offered to match the first $1,000 in donations we receive to help us reach our goals for the month of April. Now is your chance to double your impact!
