Kitchen Upgrade is Complete!

In June 2023, AWARE’s Early Childhood Center in Butte celebrated its 25th Anniversary of providing Early Head Start services in the area. As part of the celebration, we challenged ourselves to raise the bar for the next 25 years and kicked off a campaign to raise money to help offset costs for a major kitchen overhaul.

Today, we’re proud to report that our project is complete. The new kitchen is absolutely spectacular thanks to YOU and all of our supporters!

The newly remodeled kitchen boasts nearly twice as much space with commercial appliances and an oversized pantry. The previous kitchen was nearly original to the facility, and with standard household appliances it was a struggle to provide the more than 180 meals that needed to get out the door each day.

Thanks to YOU our center is set up for success for many years to come as it continues to provide high-quality nutrition for children ages 0-3 each day.
