Missoula, Montana, December 29, 2022 - It takes a team to help people live independent lives and Opportunity Bank of Montana is stepping up in a big way for the people AWARE serves. AWARE is happy to partner with Opportunity Bank to sponsor the “Assist Tracker” at all men’s and women’s University of Montana Grizzly & Montana State University Bobcat basketball games this season.

For every assist recorded during the seasons, Opportunity Bank will donate $10 to AWARE.

As a Montana community bank, with locations across the state, Opportunity Bank and its employees are eager to serve their communities with enthusiasm, and they support individual growth and empowering people to succeed. Coupled with AWARE’s mission to help people live independent lives, this unique collaboration between two leading statewide organizations provides an exciting opportunity to assist our neighbors.

“We are so pleased to partner with AWARE along with the Griz and Bobcats to join efforts in raising awareness for this wonderful organization,” said Ashley Kuehn, Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Opportunity Bank of Montana. “We are committed to donating $10 for every assist registered by the teams this season and encourage fans to follow our progress.” Kuehn continued, “AWARE provides crucial support, resources and assistance for mental health and developmental disabilities needs. The work they do is changing the game for our neighbors across Montana.”

As of December 13, a total 494 assists have been recorded between all four teams. The assist tracker will continue throughout the regular season with Opportunity Bank presenting AWARE a check for the total raised via assists by the Griz and the Bobcats at the end of the season.

AWARE’s Director of Development & Marketing, Brynn Molloy said, “We are honored to partner with Opportunity Bank and incredibly grateful that they are willing to team up to support the work our team does to help people in all 56 counties with mental health and/or developmental disabilities needs. This partnership is just one example of Opportunity Bank’s generosity and willingness to invest in the communities it serves. Words do not express how grateful we are to team up with Opportunity Bank to build awareness and raise funds to continue serving the most vulnerable in Montana.”
