AWARE has some exciting events coming up in our communities! Be sure to keep an eye on our social media and website to stay up-to-date on what AWARE is doing near you.   

 

Thank you to everyone who participated in and supported our most recent events. We had a wonderful time in Great Falls at the Raise A Pint Night at Mighty Mo and Out to Lunch in Missoula!  

Upcoming Events – Save the Date  

In Anaconda, AWARE is celebrating Smelterman’s Day Saturday, August 10th from 12-4 pm and Sunday, August 11th from 1-3:30 pm. AWARE will be tabling at the Kennedy Commons on Saturday at the Brewfest, and Sunday for the Parade and Afterparty. This will be a fun, lively community event that we are excited to be part of!  

 

Tuesday, August 13th, the Missoula PaddleHeads are hosting AWARE for Nonprofit Night on Tuesday, August 13th at 7:05 pm. 100% of proceeds from tickets sold through this link will be donated to AWARE to help us continue our work to help people live independent lives. Come out and enjoy a ball game while supporting AWARE! 

 

Friday, August 23rd from 12-3 pm, AWARE invites the community to join in celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the Center for Excellence. Join us at 200 Polk Ave for free school supplies, free BBQ, root beer floats, and community resources.  This event is free and open to the public. 

 

Back in Missoula on Friday, August 23rd AWARE will be at the Atonement Lutheran Block Party from 5-8 pm at 2205 34th St in Missoula. This is a free community event for the family. There will be free food and drinks, entertainment, and access to local resources.  

 

Leading us into September.. We have a full and exciting lineup!  

 

Starting off with our Missoula based community events, AWARE will be tabling at the Family Roots Fest on Saturday, September 7th from 10 – 2 pm at Caras Park. This event is a wonderful opportunity to bring your family for a memorable day full of family-centered, interactive children’s activities.  

 

Monday, September 9th GILD is hosting AWARE for their Toast the Town event. From 5-8 pm, $1 from every drink sold will be donated to AWARE. Later that week, Wednesday, September 11th, Imagine Nation is hosting AWARE for their Pint Night 6-8 pm. $1 from every beverage sold will be donated to AWARE. Mark this week in your calendar for a great opportunity to enjoy a date night, girls night, or just an excuse to get out, while supporting AWARE and our service to the community.  

 

On September 14, AWARE is participating  in the Five Valleys Out of the Darkness Walk and Resource Fair at the PaddleHeads Stadium.  Use this link to join the AWARE team. AWARE will also have an information table with resources and giveaway items for community members.  

 

Last, but certainly not least for the September Missoula lineup, AWARE is hosting our Golf Scramble on September 25th at the Missoula Country Club. Beginning with a 10 shotgun start, this will be a fun way to show your support of helping people live independent lives. There are many ways to help make a difference, you can form a team, register solo, sponsor a hole, or donate prizes. Learn more and register here: www.Aware-inc.org/golf 

 

Moving to Anaconda, AWARE will be participating in the Anaconda Community Market on September 5th on the 100 Block of Main Street between Commercial Ave and Park St. We will speak about opportunities and resources for the community, and have some fun swag items to share from 4-7 pm.  

 

September 15th, Billings will be hosting the Yellowstone Out of the Darkness Walk to Fight Suicide Resource Tabling. AWARE will be present to share resources and services with the community with free giveaway items to enjoy. From 12-3 pm AWARE will be at Will James Middle School.
