GivingTuesday is set to take place on November 29, 2022, and we need your help raising $15,000 so our clients can “Get up and Move” through healthy activities!
First, what is GivingTuesday?
It’s an opportunity for people around the world to connect and support their communities through the power of individual generosity. It’s not just one day – this is a global social movement that’s working every day to fuel more generosity in service to building a more just and equitable world.
On this annual day of celebration - November 29, 2022, this year – the whole world comes together to give back in many different ways: through acts of kindness, gifts of voice, time, talent or treasure. All around the world, we are joining forces and leaning on each other – and this generosity tells us that we will achieve the better, more just world that we all seek.
How YOU can make a difference right now!
Over the past year, you have helped us provide the “Best Day Ever” for the people we serve, not only on their birthdays, but also holidays and celebrations for major achievements. Now, we aim to expand these efforts. As we head into the new year with new goals, we are actively working to provide both clients and staff the opportunity and encouragement to “Get up and Move.” We need your help to make this possible.
This GivingTuesday, you can provide more than just a gift. You can help the people we serve find joy and entertainment through movement and activity—so each day can be the best day!
What does “Get up and Move” look like?
The beauty of this is that it will look and feel different for each person we serve, based on their needs.
Examples of how your generosity will be used to support this campaign:
Your gift of $25 can buy one monthly membership to a gym for someone living in one of our homes. A monthly commitment of $25 will help us provide that for an extended period of time!
Your gift of $50 will provide sneakers for kids in our care so they can run and play safely.
Your gift of $100 will provide access to dance and art classes for people across our service lines.
Your gift of $500 will provide bikes and helmets or access to equine therapy for the people we serve.
Your gift of $1,000 will help purchase equipment for the playground at the Center for Excellence.
Simply put, by giving a gift that is meaningful to you, you are supporting the well-being of the people we serve. Your support helps us help people live independent lives and your generosity makes our communities better.
Can we count on you to help us raise $15,000 this GivingTuesday?
