Guidance and support are offered by AWARE’s specialized addiction staff who work directly with each person after obtaining consent and screening. The new program is an opportunity for AWARE to provide a much-needed service to the community.

Care offered by the substance use program may include:

• Screening and referral

• Brief intervention/crisis

• Assessment/evaluation

• Individual, family or group therapy 

• Case management
