About Kathryn
Dr. Brogan is a physician specializing in Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. She attended Medical School at University of Louisville, followed by Psychiatry Residency at Northwestern University and Fellowship at the University of Utah. Prior to joining the team at AWARE, Dr. Brogan was the attending physician of the adolescent residential psychiatric unit at Shodair Children’s Hospital. Dr. Brogan is a board member of the Montana Psychiatric Association and the Montana Association of Pediatric Psychiatry and serves as a delegate to the national assemblies of both medical societies.
As Medical Director, Dr. Brogan oversees all medical practice at AWARE, upholding high standards of care and integrating psychiatric and medical services among other service lines. She provides supervision and professional development for AWARE’s team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician’s Assistants through Physician-Led Interdisciplinary Team-Based Care. This model leverages our precious resources and allows more Montanans to access high quality, specialty psychiatric services from our non-physician prescribers who are overseen and supported by a board-certified psychiatrist. Dr. Brogan also works clinically as the Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for the youth in most of AWARE’s group homes and offers consultation for other AWARE patients as needed
Dr. Brogan enjoys cooking, gardening, painting, and learning about cults and conspiracy theories (don’t worry, she doesn’t believe the conspiracies… she just really enjoys them).
