Rick Hamblin is AWARE’s Service Director of Quality Improvement, where he ensures our service lines deliver high-quality treatment to clients across Montana. Since joining AWARE in 2017, Rick has played a key role in supporting staff, maintaining compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency, including overseeing myEvolv and assisting with Vitals Dashboards.

Before joining AWARE, Rick gained extensive experience in the behavioral health field, working in various roles such as Youth Case Manager, Treatment Manager in Home Support Services and Therapeutic Foster Care, and in leadership positions where he supervised multiple programs. He’s also been involved in training staff on CPR/FA, Workplace Harassment, Suicidal Prevention, and other key areas to ensure our teams are equipped to provide exceptional care.

Rick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Management and a Master’s in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling.

Outside of work, Rick enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. He’s married and has a daughter.
