Brittani and Paisley are Headed for Success
Brittani and her daughter Paisley are more than grateful to have gotten involved with AWARE’s Early Childhood Center in Butte.
Paisley has been enrolled at the center for nearly a year. Since enrollment, Brittani has had time to move from being a parent volunteer into a teaching position that she says is more than fulfilling.
“I really appreciate the focus on positive reinforcement and recognition at the center”, Brittani said, “Everything that happens in the classrooms is intentional and has a purpose geared toward learning and development. I’m really happy to be a part of that kind of environment with Paisley.”
As a single mom, Brittani needed a facility that could provide quality care for Paisley during the day so that she could use that time to work and support the family.
“I wanted to find a place that loved Paisley as much as I did”, Brittani said, “It was hard to let go at first, but I knew I found the right place after a few interactions with the teachers.”
During one such interaction, a teacher was letting Brittani know about a minor fall Paisley had out on the playground. The fall resulted in a cut lip, and as the teacher was describing the incident, she became teary eyed.
“From that moment, I knew I found the type of care that I was looking for,” said Brittani.
Just in the last few months, Brittani has noticed improvements in Paisley’s overall development which she attributes to her attendance at the center. Paisley picked up on walking quickly after being introduced to the classroom and she has significantly improved her social skills. Prior to coming to the center, Paisley used to shy away from others, but now she often seeks out friends (she has a lot of them) and is eager to engage with just about anyone in the facility.
“I am really glad I found the Early Childhood Center here in Butte,” said Brittani, “it has helped me become a better parent. It’s so much more than just a daycare and a job for Paisley and I.”
During her time at the center, Brittani has connected with other parents and teachers to talk about life’s varying obstacles and challenges. She referred to it as a positive support group that can help her through just about anything as she becomes the best mom to Paisley that she can be.
“I’m just genuinely grateful for everything I have found here,” said Brittani.
