We Like to Party!
The AWARE crew gathered once again for the Annual PACT Picnic on August 18th at Memorial Park to celebrate the conclusion of a great summer and another year of success in the books. It was a day filled with laughter, delicious food, and exciting games, and we want to thank everyone who made it out to the park! We’d like to extend a special thank you to our friends and partners at Pintler Pharmacy for their generosity and donation that made this year’s picnic possible.
We Got Festive!
Our annual picnic was all about coming together as a community, celebrating shared values, and having a blast while doing it. It was a day to relax, unwind, and connect with fellow PACT Team members. Whether you’ve been around for a while or are brand new to the group, the picnic was all about fun and there was certainly no shortage of enthusiasm among the group!
We ate good food!
No picnic is complete without something to eat, and this one did not disappoint. Fresh croissants were served up with a variety of meats and cheeses along with big bowls of ripe fruit and crisp veggies. It was safe to say that everyone came hungry and left happy!
We played Games!
We had some friendly competition with corn hole and other yard games that brought out everyone’s inner champion. It wasn't just about winning though – it was about celebrating our shared achievements and the strong bonds we've built within our AWARE PACT family.
To top it off, people paired up for a game of egg toss which has become a long-standing tradition everyone looks forward to at the picnic each year. Just take a look at the pictures to see how much fun everyone had.

Did you know that AWARE offers a Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) in Helena?
Our PACT team offers a wraparound approach to mental health care. PACT offers intensive care with the goal of increasing independence, stability, and ability to function within the community as well as decreasing the frequency and duration of hospitalization, crisis services, and incarceration.
We meet with clients in the community, including client homes, public parks, coffee shops, public libraries, doctor’s offices, social service agencies, and homeless shelters. The PACT team provides medication management, individual and group therapy, substance use therapy, vocational rehabilitation services, community resource services, peer support, and nursing services. We provide clients the services they need to ensure they can manage their mental illness in a community setting.
